This Traditional Wort SG Brix refractometer is used for measuring Specific Gravity of Wort and density of sugar related liquids such as fruit juice, soft-drinks, wine and wort. It also helps to control the sugar concentrations in foods and beverages.
Furthermore, this brix refractometer is able to check the ripeness of fruit in the field, verifying quality of product after harvesting or controlling concentrations during processing and packaging.
Compared with Hydrometer, SG Wort refractometer requires small amount of sample with 2 or 3 drops of sample only. Furthermore, this refractometer has Automatic Temperature Compensation from 10 °C to 30 °C.
